I can imagine that you must be very anxious right now. The first thing to do with regards to your visit with the cervical cancer specialist is to make sure that you are well prepared for your appointment. Try to read as much as possible before your visit and be prepared to ask questions of the specialist. Also, see if someone you trust can come with you to the office visit to provide support. Many times, the information provided at the office visit is overwhelming and it's helpful to have someone else be there and serve as your advocate as well.
