I had been having these spells that would last for a period of days or weeks, where I couldn't seem to catch my breath. After 4 times to the family doctor, I decided to go to an asthma dr. He thought for sure was asthma, but then I left my home in Indiana and spent a week with family in Colorado, and that whole week I was fine. He sent me to an allergist, who tested me for 10 things, for which I was allergic to cats and dust mites.
I owned a cat for 10 years and never once had a problem with not being able to catch my breath. I'm 48 years old, you mean to tell me one day I'm ok and not allergic to dust mites and suddenly one day I start having these symptoms, and I AM allergic? I don't buy it. I think I am being mis-diagnosed.
Anyone else in this forum have dust mite allergy, or this not being able to "catch" your breath problem?
